Routes support

Routes maps the world's greatest driving roads, from the UK and the Alps to the USA, Japan and beyond, with a rich roadbook for every one. If you've hit a snag or have a question, you're in the right place.

Do I need an account?

No, and the whole catalogue is free to browse without one. You can save and log up to 3 roads each signed out; an account lifts that, carries your Pro across devices, and lets your roads and trips show up on the website too. You can sign in with Apple, with Google, or with a code sent to your email, and any of them can be deleted whenever you like.

What is Routes Pro?

Routes Pro unlocks Drive Mode, the best-days-to-drive forecast and its alerts, 3D fly-bys, the Grand Tours in full, unlimited saving and logging, and offline downloads. Sharing, home-screen widgets and syncing across your devices are free for everyone, as is every road in the catalogue. You can go Pro with a yearly subscription that starts with a free trial, or a one-time lifetime purchase.

How does syncing work?

Your saved roads and your Passport sync across your devices through your own iCloud account, using Apple’s CloudKit. It happens automatically when you’re signed in to iCloud.

The weather or conditions aren’t showing

Live conditions and the best-days-to-drive forecast need an internet connection; the weather itself comes from MET Norway. If they’re blank, check you’re online and try reopening the road.

Privacy

Routes works without an account and never sells your data; if you create an account you can delete all your data any time. You can read the full privacy policy for the detail.

A note on safety

Routes is about scenery, craft and the joy of driving, never speed. Always obey the law, drive to the conditions, and never interact with the app while driving.
