The upper CG-3 winds from Ordino through El Serrat to the Ordino-Arcalis ski station at around 2200 metres, one of Andorra’s most scenic high valleys with views toward the Tristaina lakes. It is a well-surfaced general road that tightens into open hairpins above the tree line. In summer the top section can be closed to cars during certain hours for the cycling gondola. Mind the cyclist traffic on the climb, the abrupt weather changes at altitude, and the winter snow at the top.
