A wall of a climb beneath the Marmolada glacier.

The SS641 over the Fedaia Pass at 2,057 m runs beneath the Marmolada, the highest peak in the Dolomites, past its glacier and a dam-held lake. The eastern ramp is brutally steep; a feared Giro d’Italia climb. Spectacular and demanding; mind the gradient, the cyclists, and snow into early summer.
