Narrow clifftop loop over Clifden Bay
The Sky Road is a roughly 16 kilometre looped route from Clifden onto the Kingstown peninsula in Connemara, returning via the N59. The upper road climbs to elevated viewpoints over Clifden Bay and its offshore islands before dropping back to sea level. Mind the single-track sections, blind bends and oncoming cars at passing places.
