Quiet Graubünden pass shadowing the UNESCO Albula Railway viaducts.

The Albula Pass (2,312 m) carries main road 417 over the Rhaetian Alps between Bergün and La Punt in Graubünden, running alongside the UNESCO World Heritage Albula Railway with its famous spiral tunnels and viaducts above Bergün. Because cars and trucks favour the parallel Julier Pass, the Albula stays unusually quiet, mixing forest, stone bridges, hairpins and open sweepers. Gradients reach about 12-15%, and the pass is closed in winter, with narrow sections and exposed wind at the summit.
