Alpine leg of the German Alpine Road over the Schwarzbachwacht saddle, Inzell to Ramsau.

This stretch of the B305, the historic Deutsche Alpenstraße, climbs from Inzell through Schneizlreuth and over the 868 m Schwarzbachwacht saddle before dropping to Ramsau beneath the Watzmann and Reiteralpe. It mixes long forest straights with a tighter climb and some sweeping bends, and the view opening to the Berchtesgaden peaks after the pass is the highlight. It is a popular motorcycling and touring route in summer. Mind weekend bike and camper traffic, the enforced speed limits and overtaking bans, and snow or ice on the saddle outside summer.
